-University of the Arts Rick Kerber Tribute Ensemble
-The Archbishop Ryan High School Jazz Ensemble consists of 19 talented and dedicated students and is under the direction of Mr. Phil Kaufman. Mr. Josh Anderson also works with the band. The ensemble meets 2 days a week after school. Members are exposed to all styles of jazz and improvisation.
In addition to participating in the Cavalcade of Bands, the jazz ensemble has also participated in numerous community events and exhibition performances.
-The Bensalem Jazz Ensemble has a long tradition of excellence with performances throughout the country. Accomplishments include Cavalcade of Bands Champions, the University of the Arts Jazz Festival Champions, the Lakewood Jazz Festival Champions, and the Villanova Jazz Festival Champions. The Bensalem Jazz Ensemble has opened for such groups as Maynard Ferguson and The Yellow Jackets. The ensemble consists of twenty young men and women who meet and rehearse three days a week. We’d like to acknowledge our assistant directors Mr. George Leigh, Mr. Rick Magill, and Mr. Alex Deas and thank the staff, administration, and the Music Boosters at Bensalem for the help and continued support.
